🎵Into the Unknown 🎵….. if you have a Frozen 2 lover in your home like we do, you will have that song stuck in your head all day long. This also describes the unprecedented times our couples are facing with planning their weddings. Even more confusion comes with the new Supreme Court ruling this week.
Over the past few months we have been working with our 2020 couples on their options – either to continue as planned or postponement options. Some of our couples have already postponed their receptions until a later date, but are still planning to have their ceremony on the original date. Others are hoping to proceed with both their ceremony and reception. Through discussions with the Portage County Health and Human Services, we will continue to follow the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation guidelines. We will have more health and safety practices in place for all guests and continue to work with our couples in their planning process. This spring we constructed more ceremony benches and outdoor photo locations to give everyone more space and unique experiences. We understand it is a stressful situation for all couples, vendors and families involved. Thank you for your support as we navigate through this situation.
Not that you need another Frozen song in your head but it is very fitting for this situation: 🎶 “This will all make sense when I am older Someday I will see that this makes sense One day, when I'm old and wise I'll think back and realize That these were all completely 'normal' ➡️unprecedented ⬅️events”🎶
